Sales Consultant (Automotive)

Turners Group NZ Ltd is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we're very proud to have been helping Kiwi's buy and sell used vehicles for over 50 years. 

Who would suit this role?

As we prepare to open our new Whanganui branch, we’re looking for a go-getter with positive energy who loves helping customers and is excited about building a sales career in the automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new team and play a key role in the success of our newest dealership from day one.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, passionate about cars, driven to achieve results, and ready to jump into a fast-paced environment. Weekend work is essential, as that’s when our customers are most active and sales opportunities are at their peak. If you're eager to learn, contribute, and grow with a successful automotive business, we'd love to hear from you.

What does this role entail?

• Conduct accurate vehicle valuations 
  
• Manage leads, customer enquiries, and buyer accounts across all channels
• Conduct test drives and support customers throughout the buying and selling process
• Maintain high vehicle presentation standards
• Arrange vehicle delivery and/or collection when required
• Ensure strong CRM follow-up to maximize conversions
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Consistently work toward and exceed sales and revenue targets.

What do we need from you?

• Confidence interacting and negotiating with people
• A good knowledge of cars
• Results focused and target driven
• Full NZ driver's licence
• Legal rights to work in NZ
